-"Born Again" student. Got bad grades, took time off, went to culinary school, worked as a chef for several years. Came back to school and now have a 3.855 on my last 70 credits.
-Basically limited to the East Coast
-I have what I believe is an interesting, well written personal statement
-Checked Law School Predictor but would like some other feedback
Boston University
Boston College
Suffolk (with $$?)
Fordham PT (LSP has me as a "consider", although I know Fordham likes GPAs)
Brooklyn (with $$?)
Georgetown PT
St. John's (with $$?)
Cardozo
If anyone knows of other schools to apply to where I would have a reasonable chance at getting in or getting $$, please let me know.
Thanks and good luck to everyone with your cycles.

Retake the LSAT. With that GPA, you need something spectacular.

Re: 2.9/165
BC/BU are out.
St. John's, Carbozo, and Brooklyn aren't worth going to.
No clue about Suffolk, but due to the economy, I'd also be very very cautious about going.
Fordham PT is worth the app, but probably out.
GULC PT is also probably not going to happen.
Basically, you need to retake to have a shot at schools worth attending.
