All -- I am in the fortunate position to have been accepted to a handful of schools, but I will have trouble going to more than 1 or 2 ASW's because of work. So, I am thinking of visiting some places (like Durham and Austin) on a Saturday or Sunday. Are admissions offices pretty good about setting you up to meet with a student, despite the weekend inconvenience? Or is it likely that I will only be able to tour around the town/city and *maybe* walk through the campus?
I guess the biggest loss would be not seeing a class. Most of the speakers, panels, etc. that you get on an ASW probably give info that you could obtain simply from speaking with a current student and researching the school. What do you all think? Am I making a mistake by not pressing really hard to get the days off from work to be at more ASWs?
Thanks.

Re: Visiting schools on a weekend
Check the schools' websites and/or call/email the admissions office and ask. Some schools don't do any sort of tours on weekends or holidays or near finals.
