So here's the situation...
Seat dep. due April 30, can't get work off until about April 23, was planning on taking that off and spendin the weekend in AA, taking a tour, bla bla bla, looked at the website and saw that classes officially end on April 21.
I believe I can still get a tour, but not from a student, and I can't sit in on a class.
I'm pretty set on going to Michigan anyway, unless I get some fat monies from Colorado (which I visited and didn't really love). Plane tickets are around $500, which I don't really have.
I never visited my UG and absolutely loved it. I've never been very picky about the towns I've lived in, and the Mich. campus seems pretty fantastic. So, should I stay or should I go?

Go visit - at least familiarize yourself with campus and the buildings. It's important to be able to think about the physical surroundings you'll be in before you're thrust into school. You don't want to spend this summer trying to imagine yourself in some unknown place. You want to get used to thinking about yourself in a place you know.

If you're set on Michigan already, it's not really necessary. The law quad is just as beautiful as the pictures, if not more so. Save the money; you'll need it.

I went on a tour of Michigan, and, while nice, I certainly wouldn't view it as essential. Like you, I was already set on going there, though I also already had some familarity with the quad (e.g. driven by it a bunch). Tour only lasts about 40 mins and mine was done by two 1ls.
