So, I think it's about damn time we had a thread for Vanderbilt prospectives. Who's going to ASWs this year? I'll be at the April 9th one, and it's gonna rock.

Vandy, a T15 with T11 placement and T3 social life.

I just booked my tix for April 8th through the 11th. Should be great! We will have to talk about ride sharing from the airport as it gets closer.

i'll be there on the 9th! anyone from Cali?

as a side note: vandy has been very impressive throughout this whole process, don't you guys think? especially with the obiter dictum they mailed out and the ASD distractions they posted on the website.

I'm going April 9th, can't wait. It's my last visit, so I'll probably be making my final decision on the plane home.

Same here. I'm doing Michigan's preview weekend this week and then Vandy's ASD April 9th, so I'll pretty much be deciding right after (and rightfully so because deposit deadlines will be a week after!).

See yall on March 26. I registered today to stay overnight with a student, so I haven't heard back yet.

I wonder when they will let us know, since overnight stays with students are on a first come first served basis. ASW is only 2.5 weeks away and I would hate to have to scramble to find a hotel if this falls through.

Between the amazing acceptance package, the generous scholarships, the great job placement, and the fun/laid back (well as much as a law school can be anyway) atmosphere Vandy has really been winnng me over.

I can't go to their ASW so I'm visiting Vandy and Nashville next weekend. I'll report back what I think. They were nice enough to give me $150. Yay!

In case anybody is looking for a hotel, I got the Courtyard by Vanderbilt through priceline bidding for $60/night. It's about $80 after tax and fees. I think the rack rate is about $130? It's 10 min walk from the law school.

Hey cardinal, did you get this email?

Quote:
We have noted that you would like overnight accomodations for Thursday, and Friday   with a current student. We expect to meet all overnight hosting requests, and the "matching" process will take place about two weeks prior to the Admitted Students Program; your student host will contact you at that time, and you can meet up with your host Thursday evening at the reception.

Makes me feel good that they're not gonna run out, and that we'll be okay.

Nope, haven't received the email yet. In fact, I just sent out an email asking them about Overnight Accommodations. But seeing your post makes me feel better.
