Non-EC applicants have been receiving responses for months now.dj8man11 wrote:Got in EC on December 15, 2009 for Fall of 2010. Graduated from a state school on California central coast, 164 on test and 3.45 gpa. Withdrew all other active apps as soon as I heard. Living in tower. Stoked. Does anyone know when the non EC applicants are notified?
Are you talking about getting notified about living in the tower?dj8man11 wrote:Got in EC on December 15, 2009 for Fall of 2010. I received mine during the first week of December.

Nah, just curious as to when non-EC prospectives are notified of application status. Some kid in my class said he hasn't heard back yet & I was wondering whether he'd get in at all at this point.LizBennet wrote:Are you talking about getting notified about living in the tower?dj8man11 wrote:Got in EC on December 15, 2009 for Fall of 2010. did anybody look at the tower during the last asd? I'm debating if I want to apply...if I haven't already missed some phantom deadlinemaybesheis wrote:Has anyone heard back about getting into the Tower? Such a load of stress would be lifted if they would just tell me one way or another!
In their website it says "Students who complete the application and submit the processing fee will be assigned an apartment in the order that applications are received."a male human wrote:Yeah, how does applying for the Tower work? I know it's some kind of lottery. People go for it this early?

I applied a while ago just because I'm moving from Florida and the thought of searching for an apartment out there was terrifying. Still haven't heard back yet though.

What! I thought there weren't enough rooms for all of us. What happens to those who pay the fee and not get a room? Same thing as those who paid for Need Access and didn't get a grant?maybesheis wrote:In their website it says "Students who complete the application and submit the processing fee will be assigned an apartment in the order that applications are received."a male human wrote:Yeah, how does applying for the Tower work? you havent heard anything at all right? like not even an email or anything? I just ask because it looks like a couple people in the facebook group got an email about August move-in dates, but I didn't get that email. I applied in Feb. but haven't heard a thing. I did call and the lady said they had my application, which is good. Looking at some threads from last year, it seems like they start notifying people of their apartments in June.
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
