I wish I could figure out why I was relegated to the regular WL.

171/3.29, I've seen people with roughly my numbers get Accepted. I thought my softs were good, and I wrote a GPA addendum about all of my bad grades being a decade ago (even explained that my GPA since coming back is ~3.8 ). When I read the second half of the WL email about the Preferred Waitlist (and me not being on it), and then heard there was even a SPWL, my heart sank.

GULC was(is) my number 1 choice. Maybe if I write them a pretty and eloquent LOCI, they'll leapfrog me over the PWL into the SPWL!

I hope so. I've sent in another LOCI and am just really hoping. The funny thing is three weeks ago I thought it was a complete and total lost cause, but since I got the interest email and have some hope I am DYING to get in.

Nah, I was only PWL.

They are probably dipping down for those ft/pters with high LSATs who were on the PWL.
