Decision 2/10, in via snail mail today, no scholarship.
Still pretty happy, it's an option for Boston now...plus I'm a bleeding heart liberal, so that's always nice!

Decision letter mailed 2/16. Hope this is good news. Does anyone else have this on their profile?

Question: How are co-ops really different than clinicals?

Re: Northeastern 2010
Well, for one thing, you can get paid for co-ops and you actually are employed by the agency for which you're doing co-op. The second semester, I believe, there's limited/no classroom teaching and you're sent out to be employed for "hands on" education. Or so I've been told by a Northeastern professor.hotdoglaw wrote:Question: How are co-ops really different than clinicals?

Thanks and good luck to you as well. Does Northeastern send their letters out in batches (acceptance, denials, waitlisted)?cogito2010 wrote:lawlaw2010 wrote:Decision letter mailed 2/16. Hope this is good news. Does anyone else have this on their profile?

The past two years on LSN indicate that it's an acceptance batch. You should double check this, as I only took a quick look.

For those who have already received their acceptances (congrats by the way), how long did it take you to receive your letter?

There are some people on Law School Numbers that already rec'd their letter. Of course, these people lived in Boston. I hope to get my letter today or tomorrow as well. Please let me know if it is good news or bad news for you.

I got my acceptance yesterday via snail mail. 8,500/ year
I did not know if I would get in because my numbers are low but I am thankful that I got in. I think my personal statement helped a lot.
Good luck to those still waiting and those who have made it maybe I will see you this fall.

Are you going to Northeastern? This was my first acceptance and I applied to 24 schools so I am still waiting to hear from the rest.
