I'm in the 1/13 mailing group as well...

I have a hunch it is a waitlist batch. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I got decision rendered today, too. I am fullly expecting a rejection, but I am hoping for the best. If only I could have been wiser about my grades when I was young and in college.

I received decision made today as well, considering how skeptical we all are, I am guessing WL or rejection, I would be shocked if I was accepted here

Edit: alright, maybe too pessimistic, from past data, waitlist?

Some in some W/L is my guess especially since last year's cycle was almost all admits if a decision came before March. This is according to LSN so take it w/ a grain of salt...

There seem to be a lot of us in this batch!

I am in this group as well... thinking it is a W/L batch, as I did not attend a tour I had scheduled. Also, my numbers are low... although my softs are strong. I only applied because I received a fee waiver.

Holy fucking shit I'm freaking out!!!!!! DR!!!!!! wtf wtf.. Are we waitlisted?!?!?! OMG OMG... 163/3.65 over median for GPA over 25th but under median for LSAT!!!! wtf!!! omg omg omg omg omg......first choice.....

I wasn't even really paying attention when I checked and I barely caught the extra mailing. I'm surprised i went decision sent so quickly (seeing as other 1/13 DS people applied in Nov.) because i'm below both medians...which is why i'm thinking WL...but maybe they really liked me and I was put into the "Accept" pile!

As for WL's not going out until March, Robin was WL'ed a little while ago. I hope you get in, Robin!

Not waitlisted, just thought I would be since usually you hear right away. OMG OMG DR, I'm freaking out!

Well, my GPA is at their 25 and my LSAT is right at median, so I am hoping they stay true to the trend of anything before March is good news.

maybe we even each other out because my gpa is above median and lsat is right in the middle btw 25th and median. I'm going with this theory, you game?

I gotta think this is a WL batch....I'm definitely closer to the median LSAT than the 25%, and I'm right at the 25% for GPA. Certainly not auto-reject numbers, but I can't see getting an acceptance this early.

As for the "no waitlists before march" theory, did W&L have a free app last year? They may have gotten a ton more apps this year so they are moving through them quicker. Just a thought.

anyone else get a status update today? I got a date change on my complete status. Originally complete as of 11/14, now complete as of 1/15. As I said on another thread, this is a bit absurd; either you are complete or you are not. If the new "complete" actually means something, e.g. for WUSTL it seems to mean Decision Rendered, why don't they just change the status accordingly? The purpose of the status checker is negated by such cryptic updates.

Ok, mine says "Decision Reached; Notification Pending" on 1/14 and up top it says when they mail out my letter it will be reflected in my mailings list....but under mailing it already says decision sent on 1/13 a day before my status chaged...so did they already send?...If it was 1/13 I should get it today or tomorrow...please before the two day lack of mail!
