Hey don't feel bad, I got a complete e-mail 11/13 and hadn't heard anything ever since. I'm starting to think my package fell off the admission committees desk, accidentally kicked into the hall, got picked up by the janitor and dumped in the trash. Oh wait, that wasn't an accident, I think it was intentional.ndirish2010 wrote:Same...and I have high numbers for IU as wellSlimpee wrote:I applied to IUB just before Xmas. I got the received email 12/21 and the complete email on 1/25 as well....and I can't help but wonder why did it take so long?!? Patience is not among any of my virtues.

I sent in 11/12 and went complete 11/20 which apparently was fairly quick for them, however since then I've heard absolutely nothing....

Re: In at IU-Bloomington!!!!
IU may be holding off on sending any more decisions until after this weekend; they're conducting 40 interviews in DC and 40 more in Chicago. These 80 applicants, total, are probably a blend of (a) scholarship possibilities and (b) borderliners.
Plus, there's probably going to be a turnaround time associated with the adcomms spreading the info around from the interviews.

My mistake. Your LSAT is definitely good enough to qualify. The jury's still out on timing of scholarship dispersement, since they are giving more money out this year than ever before. They might still have a few mill in the bank to hand out.

I never got that email - maybe they don't love me anymore.badwithpseudonyms wrote:I received that as well, but my package arrived last week. Maybe a glitch/time gap in the system.

Damn, I've been counting on that 6-8 week decision turnaround they mentioned in the "Complete" e-mail.clwilson6 wrote:Hey don't feel bad, I got a complete e-mail 11/13 and hadn't heard anything ever since. Hadn't even considered it. Wasn't trying to inject any douchery but wanted anyone out there with similar numbers to have hope.Halibut6 wrote:My mistake. Re: In at IU-Bloomington!!!!
FYI, I went complete 11/6 and have yet to hear anything, so that 6-8 weeks isn't going to pan out for most folks. Wishful thinking more than anything else. I called last week and they said for me to wait 2 weeks and check back, for a total of 13 weeks.

Some of that time was when their offices were closed.Slimpee wrote:I applied to IUB just before Xmas. I got a "received" email 1/4 and just got a "complete" email 1/25...did it take that long for the rest of you?

Sorry for you guys. They shouldn't put a time expectation out there if they're not going to live up to it.

Wow, I am surprised they are taking so long to get back to you guys. My complete date was a month exactly before my acceptance letter was mailed.

I'm just taking the long deliberation as bad news since IU-B is a reach for me.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
