Blah. Now I have to go home and check my mail instead of staying in the city tonight. ;) Congrats.

I'm in! December retaker who submitted 12/28, and went complete 1/6. I'm a 3.6 173, and in NYC so this may be the start of a new wave. Get back to checking those mailboxes obsessively--there's still hope, guys!

I was just accepted and I wrote my PS about wanting to do PI, and my two PI related internships were my strongest softs. My numbers were borderline so I'm pretty sure they liked what they read. While I havent read your ps, I dont think you have to worry about Columbia hating PI stuff.

Also, I wouldnt be surprised if Columbia is trying to get more PI ppl. Schools like to brag about this (i guess it sounds better than 'we send over 50% of our students to work for evil law firms and they sold their soul for 160k/year salaries!")

EDIT: Posting from my phone so I don't think I can do an LSN search...not just incredibly lazy. thx

From last year on LSN, at least two people admitted in mid-February got Butlers. Someone also got a Hamilton who went complete on 1/30 last year (but didn't report their admission date), and another person reported a Hamilton who went complete in early January but wasn't admitted until mid-February.

The Hamiltons: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/puppiez, http://lawschoolnumbers.com/kalessebo
