Completing the roll call for those who went UR 11/25 and didn't hear anything in the first round of acceptances, I got the WL e-mail last week as well. Couldn't update here earlier cos I was out of the country without access to the internet. I'm pretty sure I'll be withdrawing very soon.

Insanely slow. I'm still at "Application Complete" 12/3. Hunker down for quite a wait!

I like how Chicago does things though. They do it in order. If you submit first, you will hear a decision first. Unlike other schools which will make you wait until April for their WL.

(and yes, i do understand why schools do this.. i dont blame em)

....unless some masochistic admissions officer personally calls waitlisted/rejected applicants to enumerate their shortcomings & the reasons they didn't get accepted....

Oh great, let the anxiety begin. It seemed like 90% or so of the first batch had an update right before the calls, so I'd really appreciate it if they'd update me again this week.
