anyone call lately? No withdrawal movement at all? Anyone talk with DB this week? News?
So so so waiting, so so so wanting in...
Don't know what to do now. I just don't really annoy Dean DB by calling him too often. Any suggestion?

Last Tuesday, I believe. He told me that I am in a good place now. And then, nothing happened. So I asked my recommender on Friday to write me an email. (I later learned that she is an alumnus.)MandM wrote:

A phone call to the office reveals they are "reviewing waitlist files". I probably should have been more specific with my questions.

Nope. To be honest (and Fordham if you're reading this I still will drop everything to come running if you let me in), it sounded like a rehearsed answer that they taught anyone who answers the phone. I'm really bad at the phone though, so someone else probably could have pried more info out.MandM wrote:No word as to when we should be hearing back or how many are on the wait list?unaplgticmocker wrote:A phone call to the office reveals they are "reviewing waitlist files". I am planning to send another LOR in early July. Do you think it maybe too much? One LOR was sent out early Monday, but I think it probably was more general rather than detailed evaluation of my ability of studying law.sentinal5656 wrote:Just some advice... i wouldnt bug or repeadetly email the Dean or someone from the committee. Thanks you. And you're right, its probably best to reel it in a bit with the correspondences.sentinal5656 wrote:Just some advice... i wouldnt bug or repeadetly email the Dean or someone from the committee. It might look desperate and you might annoy them.

Re: Fordham taking forever to reply
Hi all, I just received an email from Fordham saying that they still "hope to admit a few people" from the waitlist, although they didn't specify whether they meant PT or FT. To me this isn't a very encouraging choice of words for those of us who are still on the waitlist. Does anyone know how full the FT/PT programs are? I didn't apply to PT until May (after I was waitlisted at FT) yet my numbers (3.5/164) suggest that I would be a strong candidate for PT. I'm afraid though that the PT program is already full...

Re: Fordham taking forever to reply
I think both PT and FT are "full" for now, but as people withdraw they are letting people in off the waitlist. Although the people on the admitted list have already paid deposits, there is always the possibility that they get off the w/l at another school that influences their decision and prompts them to withdraw from Fordham.. so that is good news for us! When did Fordham send you this email?

Your numbers are better than mine, and you will probably be admitted if space opens up. <3Timber984 wrote:Hi all, I just received an email from Fordham saying that they still "hope to admit a few people" from the waitlist, although they didn't specify whether they meant PT or FT. So it looks like orientation (for PT) starts on 8/10 and 1st day of class is 8/24. I guess this means that 8/24 is the last day we can get in (if someone doesn't show up for the first day of class)? Or do we have to get in before orientation starts? What do you guys think?

Re: Fordham taking forever to reply
Good morning everyone, and welcome to another week of waiting!
Does anyone know how the PT class is ranked? I am guessing that the PT is ranked independent of the FT, unless you transfer over?
