Ditto. My numbers are weak for U.Washington and it is my top choice so I am nervous...

Same boat for me (so that means I'm also IN by email). Not coming from a US undergrad, this is a huge fiasco (the office most similar to a Dean of Students has no idea what this means or why it would provide more info than a transcript). On the other hand, now they provide a fax option! I guess it was ok to wait (although for the longest time I was bummed because it seemed like my file would forever be complete - but then it went to review on the status checker anyway).

ouch. from what i've been reading.. rejection letter is in the mail for me tomorrow (or soon.)

mailed out 02/10 but i'm in TX so that probably explains the lag..

has anyone had a decision mail date of 02/10 and an ACCEPTANCE? is there hope?

Yeah, I took it twice. Got a 161 the first time. They average it? I don't care since I wasn't going to go no matter what, but it was still a surprise to me. Thanks for letting me rant guys.
Yeah, they do. You don't sound too bummed though, so best of luck in the rest of your cycle!

this is from the "Rejected at Washington" thread in the Law School Admissions forum. If they average LSATs then I am definitely out... ugh!

Hey, same thing here! I called my UG though and they said they had mailed it on January 8th. I had them fax another copy, but I wonder if UW has misplaced some Dean Certs? Sounds like we aren't the only ones with this problem.

In! Got the acceptance letter today after coming back from a ski trip, so it has probably been waiting for me since Friday or Saturday. From Seattle, and it's my first acceptance, so it's a good one!

Congrats! Looks like a lot were getting opposite decisions, so you've broken the string of rejections. If I may ask, when did your status checker change to "Decision?"

Edit: Nevermind. Just saw you were 2/11. Interesting...

okay so I can see it clearly now. Seven to fourteen days from now my status checker changes from "In Review" to "Decision". I come to this board and freak out for several days, waiting first for the letter to be mailed, then for the letter to arrive at its east coast destination. All the while fretting and analyzing with my TLS cohorts as to which decision this batch might be. 'How many mailings have gone out since the last group of rejections?' 'Is this finally a mixed batch?' 'What about waitlists? Haven't seen those yet.' and on, and on, and on....for several painful days.

Perhaps it's time to take that extended backcountry camping trip I've been planning.

best of luck.

LOL. I wasn't too bummed out but that cheered me up nevertheless.

I may be wrong.

I'm in the same situation. I guess Dean's Certificates are a low priority for these Deans. I just made attempt number 2 on my Dean's Cert and went in there personally with fax number in hand. I have yet to received any notification that the cert was sent in though.

My status checker is showing a 2/14 decision date with a 2/17 mailing date. Anyone else with these dates? Any hope that this batch might be acceptances?

I have a decision 2/5 - Decision mailed 2/13 date. Unlike everyone here but I'm almost positive I'm a auto-reject although I like to hang on to a glimmer of hope.
