We are pleased to announce that a greater number of students than we expected have paid their seat deposits and have selected the University of Miami School of Law as their choice for fall enrollment.
In light of this, we are able to permit a limited number of students to defer entry until fall 2010 without the need to reapply. Should you wish to take advantage of this opportunity, contact us prior to your deposit due date by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by telephone at 305-284-2795. You may also fax your request to 305-284-3084. Requests for deferral will be considered in the order received. You will be advised by e-mail and telephone whether or not your request is granted.
If your plans have changed and you no longer intend to study at the School of Law, we would greatly appreciate your notifying us immediately.
Michael L. Goodnight
Assistant Dean of Admissions
Yes, i got the same e-mail. I'm not sure whether this means the deferral would be binding. Anyone have a definite answer on this? Also, not sure what would happen with scholarships (I assume you would be re-evaluated for scholarship money in the fall).
