Haven't, but definitely considering doing so now that people are being admitted off of the waitlist.
Does anyone think this his a bad idea? I've also been contemplating doing this but I have read several times that it's not a good idea. I'm just really frustrated that they are taking people off of the WL without giving everyone a decision first. At least WL people instead of leaving us hanging with absolutely no contact. I would even take a "hey we know you're alive and we're reviewing your file just be patient" at this point.

Had my interview today after being waitlisted a little while back. He called me a few hours later and accepted me

Congrats! Are you gonna attend? How long do they give you to decide?

Me too. There's not a record on LSN of someone else within my statband getting waitlisted (168, GPA>3.6), so I have to assume that they filled up and got to our applications too late. Very disappointed as it was by far my #1 choice.

I submitted on 1/13, but wasn't marked as complete until 3/02. Dunno why it took so long for them to complete the application.

If it makes you feel any better I just got a WL with a 174/3.7.

Oof. That sucks. Sorry to hear it.

At least in your case you can think of it as a yield protect. I don't have YP numbers!

Hi everyone, I'm a 1L over at UC Berkeley. I was wondering if anyone could help me out with finding housing in LA for this summer. Is there by any chance a facebook group for your class that someone could add me to, so that I can ask if anyone is sub-letting their apartment for the summer? This would be such a huge help. Thanks!
