Do it! You could hear back before Duke.

I'd bet the more likely answer is that it's my current undergraduate institution so my why UCLA portion of my essays were pretty solid. It was pretty crazy to me how quickly I got a response though, never heard of a 36 hour application turn around.

Come over to our UVA thread, they posted some 24h turnarounds!

But yeah, I got in 9/17 as well, and am not a UCLA undergrad nor have any affiliations, so it's strange Mr. Wyatt hasn't gotten in. But... I know you will soon!
I got admitted to UVA 15.5 hours after I applied on 9/1.
Damn, UVA must really not like me! I spend so little time in that thread because my anxiety is through the roof on that one.

I just got a phone call message from the UCLA Dean of Admissions asking to call back. I submitted by app the 21st. Does anyone have an idea what they could be calling about? I am having a mini freak out at work right now and plan to call them back when I take my text break. :|
