Makes sense since I can't see myself shoveling over sticker price, so I'll just withdraw from their WL. No problem, a buddy of mine took out sticker to come here this year. Let's just say it's not really working out...sigil wrote:Makes sense since I can't see myself shoveling over sticker price, so I'll just withdraw from their WL. Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Is anyone "on hold" like me? I can't seem to find any one in the same situation.
Edit: Asked them about why I was on hold, immediately waitlisted. I guess the lesson is "don't ask don't tell"?

Waitlisted today and withdrew. GL everyone.rachellewrx wrote:We have similar stats. I'm waiting for a decision from them, too. Good luck to us!jeezy521 wrote:I applied pretty late (app. completed 2/22/16). My LSAT/GPA are 166/3.69, so I'm right around the median for both. Haven't heard anything from them since I applied. It seems like most people are getting emails for interviews within a few days. Is this a bad sign?

Withdrew after being accepted. It was a hard decision, because it came with $$$$ too. Hope someone on WL gets some good news.

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Yeah I'm a super-splitter but it still kinda surprised me. Maybe because I applied late in the cycle? Honestly, I'm kind of glad, I was really torn on what to do and this made it simple for me.HellfirePeninsula wrote:That's unbelievable! I mean probably, but there's no reason to withdraw without a decision unless you have an affinity for making AdComs lives easier.mukol wrote:Seriously though, if they didn't accept between 2 weeks and a month after you applied, and you didn't hear back about an interview almost immediately, you're just not going to get enough money from WashU for it to be worth it (most likely).The_Lorax wrote:Sounds like someone who's on the waitlistlebeaudiable wrote:If you haven't heard back yet, you should just withdraw.

Re: WUSTL Class of 2019 Applicants
Hey 0Ls (And whoever else is reading this), hope those of you who have committed to WUSTL are pumped and those of you on the fence decide to hop on the bandwagon. I'm a 3L here and have loved my time in St Louis. Anyway - to the point. My roommate's girlfriend just graduated and moved to St Louis for next year so he will be moving out and leaving me all alone in my sizable apartment. While that's not really a huge issue, it's always nice to have someone right there to share a beer and a laugh with while watching the hockey game. Not paying twice the rent is cool, too.
I've been looking around for potential new roommates and figured the easiest source of people looking for a new apartment in St Louis would be you guys. I live a 5 minute walk from Forest Park, right near the metrolink stop at the history museum which is super convenient. More than that, it's about a 2 minute drive/cab or 10 minute walk to either the CWE or The Loop - best of both worlds, really. It's a great place on Pershing Ave where tons of other law students and other grad students live. Pretty young area. Anyways, I know you guys will be looking for apartments fairly soon once the second deposit deadline passes, so feel free to PM me if you think you might be interested or really if you have any other questions about St Louis or WUSTL in general.
Cheers

Just withdrew with about $120K in scholarship. I hope that it gets redistributed to those of you on the waitlist or on the fence! I loved WashU, but it just didn't "fit" as well as other schools. Best of luck to you all!
