Where did you find that median GPA? I grabbed LSN's numbers and theirs says 3.70 for Emory's median GPA.

LSN medians are not the school medians, they are the medians for those that post on LSN and are accepted. They're generally off by a couple of points.

I applied for C/O 2018 and was accepted. Attending elsewhere but glad to answer any questions. The generality seemed to be if you were above a 75th expect 1/2 tuition (unless you applied for the full tuition thing) but lolnegotiating.

1L at Emory. Although I started 2 weeks ago, I'll take whatever questions y'all got about the app process. Also, prepare to wait... and wait.... and wait..... unless you ED. You'll also be in the blue about your app status because no status checker.

Yes for admissions. I was also same as you and got 1/2 tuition. They don't negotiate though.

I was also accepted for c/o of 2017 and like both you and attax am a high lsat splitter. I got almost 60% tuition. My friend who had an even higher lsat but a lower gpa got closer to 50% tuition, so I don't know their exact formula but there's definitely some variance.

I want to point out that the Dean of Admissions Ethan Rosenzweig is the friendliest admissions dean I spoke to at any law school. He emailed back and forth with me several times when I tried to negotiate my scholarship (Didn't pan out) as well as regarding other concerns, was always incredibly polite, and really brought the human touch to the machinery of law school admissions. Although I ended up going to a different law school he left a really great impression.

Glad your experience with the dean was so positive. I've heard nothing but amazing things about him!

Applied last week. Emory is the hometown team, so they are definitely on my short list.

Don't know if this is just on the undergrad campus. Food for thought.

Submitted my application last Friday and have not got any email said that they received my application. Is that normal? Does Emory have a status checker or will they notify via email when application is complete? Thanks in advance :) :)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
