Very laid back and friendly. I had an interview with an alumnus in my hometown. He gave me a lot of info, answered my questions, and asked the basic
law interview questions -- why law? why vandy? career goals?
Nothing to stress about, but you should prepare.

Awesome. I kinda feel like the interview would be one of my stronger suits so I'm not worried, just wanted to know what it was like.

When do the interviews open up? I had a great one last year with a young alumnus, but I registered late and had to drive across half the state.

From what I can tell you can begin requesting them now. Also you need not have your application complete before requesting one and those who do interview receive priority review. Here's the link for applicants. Any current students that have tips about the process feel free to chime in.

Not gonna lie I was kinda hoping they would drop to 166 top take some of the pressure off of the September retake. But I'm glad to see them going strong with all the drops in applicants.

3-4 in each class according to previous years. 4 in my class (2016) and 3 in the year ahead of me. One in my class transferred out, though, so maybe that will open up another spot.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
