Just withdrew. Best of luck to those awaiting decisions.
Pretty odd that you felt the need to post this in the SMU and UH applicants threads. The fact is, if you want to work in Dallas, SMU is the better option. If you want to work in Houston, Houston is the better option. It's pretty pointless to try and claim that one is discernibly better than the other.life2323 wrote:Houston Law Center > SMU Law > Baylor Law

Has anyone heard anything about scholarships yet? I'm part-time and don't know if they offer part-timers $, but figured if everyone heard about theirs, I either didn't get one or they don't offer them to us PTers.

I got that same email and wondered the same thing, but buried in the email it said that if you got a merit based scholarship you'll get that info in another email/letter. Still keeping my fingers crossed.PatriotP74 wrote:I was accepted to the Full time program 3/11 by email, no scholarship info yet but i did get an email today talking about figuring out financial aid and loans.... makes me think i wont be getting any. More reason to take a year off and make a little money and study for the LSAT i suppose hahaviktorialee wrote:Has anyone heard anything about scholarships yet? I got the same email. It seems that everyone admitted in March got it. Let's be optimistic about this and see it as they are processing the merit-based scholarship. They're just too slow. Other schools are approaching the deposit deadline.viktorialee wrote:I got that same email and wondered the same thing, but buried in the email it said that if you got a merit based scholarship you'll get that info in another email/letter. 5? I thought 3 was the typical number. My gut says WL at this point.

Yes, 5 crueling date changes. You are right to think 3 is the typical number.

For those who were admitted earlier in the cycle, did you receive your financial aid letter by mail or by e-mail? I'm up in Massachusetts, so admissions packets and letters have been slow to arrive from any of the Texas schools I applied to.

Withdrawing today... Deadline is a few weeks away and I still don't have scholly info. LSAT>50 GPA>75.
They yield protect their scholarships or what?
