The status checker says applications are reviewed on a rolling basis depending on strength of application. I only went complete on the 5th but haven't went under review yet. I contacted them Tuesday morning to see if applications would still be reviewed this week even though it was spring break and they said yes and I should hear back within 3 weeks. So maybe contact them and try to get a timetable? If your numbers are borderline acceptance then they might just be holding your app without putting you on the waitlist. Looking at LSN they've only rejected one user and put zero on waitlists.

My gpa is <25% and I have a 162 for LSAT so I'm either at or above their 75% depending on the new numbers. I'll post here when I go under review/get a decision and if your numbers are around that I would definitely contact them by then.
Yeah, our numbers are fairly similar then. Appreciate it.

I think a hold means they need more time to make the decision, while getting wait-listed is affirmatively NOT an acceptance and just means they'll revisit if they get desperate and need to fill seats.

It means that their decision was sent by mail to the address you indicated in your application.

Yeah but it's not like they're going to deny me through mail, right? They can just do that through email I would think

Some schools have sent denies via snail mail without prior email notification, although I'm not sure what FSU's system is. What are your numbers?

hm... Below 25% LSAT + slightly above the median GPA, + FSU alumn. If URM, it'd be a clearer answer, but it's a tough one as is. I'd say you're more than likely in though. congrats!

(don't blame me if I'm wrong)

edit: (and you owe your section drinks if I'm right)

I read last cycle's "FSU C/O 2016" thread and it seemed as though one or two people on that thread were placed on hold. So far, on this thread, at least five of us have received a hold. This makes me wonder how the wait list will be determined and how many of us will be on it AND how many of us will get accepted from that list

Nada. Called home today to see but it's been 2 business days and I know Jacksonville isn't that far from the old Tallanasty so I can only hope that Hump Day brings good news.

Are there only two law clinics at FSU (Children's Advocacy and Family)? Or am I missing some? There website is a little awkward to navigate, and there isn't much info on the clinics. There's a good amount about the medical/legal partnership.

It looks like there is also a Criminal Practice Clinic http://www.law.fsu.edu/academic_program ... Class.html

There's also a part of the environmental law program that includes "Pro Bono Work in Environmental Law" http://www.law.fsu.edu/academic_program ... obono.html
So, that's essentially a clinic. Here's the main page for environmental law http://www.law.fsu.edu/academic_programs/environmental/
It's a pretty good program FSU has going.

I agree though, the website is a little weird to navigate...so I'm probably missing some other clinics, etc. as well. What are you looking for, specifically?
