Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
Also at 2/7. Is it safe to say that I missed the 2/17 train or can the status change in the middle of the day?

(UR1 = 2/10)
Could a UR2 2/17 make it into this week's wave of acceptances (if there IS one)?

It does seem like they're up to something. OTOH, the LSN graph from 12-13 looks pretty similar to the one that's building for 13-14. (Normal caveats apply: unrepresentative sample, etc.)yossarian71 wrote:So sorry all... WIth other schools extending deadlines and freaking out, I just don't understand Penn at all.

Does Penn often have acceptance waves in consecutive weeks?

What's the consensus on the reasoning behind schools extending deadlines this year?yossarian71 wrote:So sorry all... WIth other schools extending deadlines and freaking out, I just don't understand Penn at all.
What does this mean for those of us who have applied and are still waiting?

most schools are extending deadlines because of all the snowstorms. At least that's the reasoning I've seen. Several administrations of the LSAT had to be pushed, from what i'm understanding, and with all of the crises with travel, I'm sure any schools that accept paper applications need to make room for delays.
I'm not sure that it means much of anything for those of us still waiting, they are still operating on a mid-April deadline, right? I'm sure they still need to pace themselves... right?
