That's true if you rocked the LSAT like austinbound they probably voted to admit you last week and are preparing your letter lol it does seem like they've been making decisions faster lately.Austinbound wrote:palbatron wrote:mx23250 wrote: FWIW, I had a second complete date a week or two after my first (like you) but didn't get admitted for another 5 weeks after that. This was back in Nov/Dec though. I'd expect you have at least a couple weeks before a decision though. Good luck!
Hey there, I like the "decision made" tomorrow comment much better than this one.
Haha if it makes you feel better, MX told me the same thing but I had my decision the next day. Most people didn't wait that long.

Congrats! Had similar feelings. Though, Kyle, in-state B1G's have little reason to hate the Irish. Do they even have football teams? Sounds like Michigan.brrrrcat wrote:Decision made + seat deposit amounts. Looks like I'm in!

I actually had tickets to the game but a friend's wedding took precedence. Probably for the best we didn't go or I may have wound up having to submit a Character & Fitness addendum.kyle010723 wrote:oh good, I still like you then. Applied: 1.10.14
"App. Complete" status: 1.24.14
"App. Complete" status (again but w/date change): 2.11.14
Decision Made: 2.12.14
I can see "Seat Deposit Amounts" in the status checker, so I guess that means I am admitted.
LSAT above 75th (172)
GPA right at 75th
I did NOT write a "Why ND" essay.

Starting to get antsy/sad.
Applied: 1/15
1st Complete: 1/16
2nd Complete: 2/3
3rd Complete: 2/11
GPA: 75th
LSAT: below 25th
Wrote "Why ND" essay.
The tiny 5% chance of hope I had is dwindling quickly...
Good luck to all the other waiters!

Also, does anyone know if more "Completes" means you're more likely to get denied? I know that ND has historically accepted better candidates more quickly.
At least it will all be over soon!

It looks like a lot of us had our 2nd completes yesterday and it's pretty common so I don't think it means anything. It looks like we are very similar in stats too. I sent you a pm.esperando127 wrote:Also, does anyone know if more "Completes" means you're more likely to get denied? I know that ND has historically accepted better candidates more quickly.

Nothing for me yet. I'm not worried as much though. GPA >75, LSAT median. Hopefully hear something a little later.

not to be a debby downer - but with the -3 lsat median shift from last year they are favoring lsat over gpa this time around - BUTTTTTTTTTT the thing about more completes doesnt mean anything my buddy had 4 complete dates before getting in.. im at 3 myself - its all good!esperando127 wrote:Also, does anyone know if more "Completes" means you're more likely to get denied? I wouldn't read too much into it. While you may not be an immediate admit, there's no reason to believe you won't just because you haven't heard back yet. You submitted less than a month ago, afterall, and they do get lots of applications this time of year. It took more than 6 weeks for me to get admitted after submission and my #s aren't real great. Good luck!esperando127 wrote:Also, does anyone know if more "Completes" means you're more likely to get denied? I know that ND has historically accepted better candidates more quickly.
