We've got pretty much an identical profile and I got a pretty good $ offer; I wouldn't worry.HYSenberg wrote:No love from UCLA this cycle. What's taking so long, guise?

I received my acceptance this afternoon! Submitted 11/30, went complete 12/3. Really fast turnaround, I was surprised to hear back so quickly.

Also, just got the acceptance package today. Big pretty magazine and a couple of standard letters (acceptance and scholarship offer).

Thanks to the people that have answered whether or not they did the "programmatic contribution" thing.
Did accepted people list their "public interest activities" ?
I just wonder if this means like community service things. I'm not applying for the public service thing so I wonder if I have to do this section at all.

Congrats on your acceptance!
Are people who have been accepted applying ED or California residents? I went complete on 11/15 and haven't heard yet. I'm not too worried, but I'm above both of their 75s so I'm getting just a littleeee anxious haha.

Well, I have worse stats than you, went complete a week before you, am not a resident, a URM, or an ED, and was accepted like three + weeks ago, so maybe my softs are a lot better than I thinkjannah77 wrote:Mariposa28 wrote:I received my acceptance this afternoon! In the same boat. NYU was able to give me a decision in under 2 weeks, but not UCLAjannah77 wrote:Mariposa28 wrote:I received my acceptance this afternoon! Submitted 11/30, went complete 12/3. Really fast turnaround, I was surprised to hear back so quickly.

It's possible they're just going hard after the more likely matriculants, in that case.Nooblarzlarz wrote:In the same boat. Wow, I just got off the phone with Dean Schwartz. I'm in. I actually did not expect this one with my GPA. I suppose solid LSAT, very non-trad & unique softs might've carried the day!

Just got the call. A very enjoyable conversation with Dean Schwartz. No scholly offer over the phone. Can anyone advise an admit, who is desperate to secure some scholly $$ on what to do next?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
