What are you talking about? WUSTL does not have an Early Action program where they provide quick responses if applications are in before a specific date. They do now have an Early Decision option, but it is binding and you have to designate that you are applying through the Early Decision program.matthewfsq wrote:anyone who applies before Feb 1 is automatically considered ED by WUSTLellewoods179 wrote:What about Early Descision? And about the interview, that's definitely a good sign for your ED app! Good luck, and look back at the last couple of pages, there are some descriptions of the interviews there.

No not sure but I've seen a handful of people ITT who were WL'd or dinged after interviewing. Probably like <10% of all interviewees though. Can't imagine it was numbers, if they weren't considering them, why bother interviewing them?

when i applied in late Jan, i was required to opt between Early and Regular, and i chose ED. It said ED applicants could expect a decision before Feb 18.scotth724 wrote:What are you talking about? Yea I did a binding ED app, I know its where I want to be. Thanks scott for giving me a slight breather, I have read through the last 40 pages out of nerves haha. I honestly thought the email from WUSTL was a very quick rejection letter, boy was I surprised to read "impressed with application" and an invite to interview.scotth724 wrote:What are you talking about? Are you familiar with how ED apps work? If you are accepted, you have to go there or sit the cycle, even at sticker. Maybe I'm off base here but it seems like some people are confused about what ED means exactly.matthewfsq wrote:when i applied in late Jan, i was required to opt between Early and Regular, and i chose ED. And yeah, matthewfsq, I hope you understood that you are guaranteed a decision by that date because you agree to attend if you are admitted. If you did not know the process was binding, I would urge you to call WUSTL and see if they can change you to RD and sort things out.

You applied early decision and you don't have a decision mid-February? That doesn't seem very early to me.ellewoods179 wrote:What about Early Descision? Did anyone here apply ED?... interview in a week, so nervous.Fall below 25th for LSAT and between 25-50 for GPA.

Deadline for their ED was Feb 5, and I submitted it on that day. Got an interview invite the 11th, and the only dates available they had was march for interviews but after a phone call they moved me up to next week after I get back from nationals.Ricky-Bobby wrote:You applied early decision and you don't have a decision mid-February? The interviewer said the call went well and a decision would be made within the week. At the outset, she said it wasn't a formal interview, and it was more about the applicant asking questions. It lasted 30 minutes or so. Anybody anxious about it shouldn't get too worked up over it.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
