First ever post! woo!

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere (there should be a search feature on this thing), but for those of us who are still waiting, I assume it could be a good idea to send additional materials. I didn't write any extra essays but with each passing day I feel the motivation needed to do so rapidly taking over.

For those who did write a "Why NYU" type essay, was there a specific prompt anywhere? Since the application is closed, I can't see what the optional essays were anymore...

Is there a deadline by which NYU plans to make first decisions? Should I be expecting at least something soon or are they going to continue to leave me in the dark?

Really? They won't be getting to their full applicant pool until September?? I understand if they waitlisted me but for a first decision that's ridiculous.

From their website: "Candidates who apply by our regular February 15 deadline (must have taken the LSAT by the previous December to qualify) will be notified by late April."

First post y'all. Some of you are going to hate me I think, but I'm too excited not to share!

Admitted this morning (3/25) via DLS and ASW!!

Applied 2/24 without an LSAT score (took Feb 2014), complete 3/6, UR1 3/7, UR2 3/10.

LSAT > 75, GPA > 75. I'm probably a bit of an atypical case...

Looks like last year the last Tuesday in March was a big day for acceptances....then after that, not much luck.

Here's hoping we all get that news today.
