does lsn have these matrices for every school? Or did you have to manually pull data?

I asked Dean Deal this question at one of the LSAC forums--she said no. If your recommender is an SLS alum or knows the school particularly well, I imagine a targeted letter would be appropriate, but if not, no worries.

Do you think Stanford PHDs would qualify? I feel like it might be a bit of a stretch but was wondering if I should just ask since one of my recommenders is a Stanford PHD. At the same time, I feel like it would not really make much of a difference

I had a Stanford PhD write one of mine. Doubt she made it targetted, or that it had any relevance whatsoever

As far as I can tell there is not, but I'll wait for some confirmation to delete it from the front page.

I talked to an admissions officer a few weeks ago and she said it wouldn't be required this year until you accept your offer.

Good luck everyone! Obviously I was in all of you guys' position this time last year and I figured I had pretty much no chance at a place as unpredictable and selective as Stanford. You DO have a good chance, maybe even a great chance, so build the strongest app you can, submit it, and then try to let the chips fall as they may (I know, much easier said than done).

And this place is exactly as awesome as advertised.
