Also - I'm glad that we got the application complete emails earlier this year so we could avoid the disappointment folks saw last year when they got an email from Harvard and thought it was for an interview invite. That would be the worst!

So collared shirt with no tie is gonna be the standard right?

I would think so - something nice and professional that avoids that stiffness that a suit/tie can create

Skype interviews are an interesting change. I think I will probably do dress shirt with no tie.

This is an interesting development. I should probably be worried since I'm 0/1 on Skype interviews and these will clearly weigh more than they did in previous cycles. Lol, just my luck.

If I were you, I would be more concerned about your LSAT/GPA. Not even a great interview can make up for those.

Didn't Harvard used to accept people without even doing an interview? Is there a chance some auto-admits won't even be interviewed?

I don't know about used to, but I know now that everyone who is accepted was interviewed at some point.

I'm actually kind of excited for this, especially if it will be weighted heavier and will involve more applicants. I have borderline numbers, but I feel like I have pretty strong interview skills. I think this could definitely help me in the process.

I love how it is a Skype interview. I suck at phone interviews; I am pretty good in person. I feel like a Skype interview is basically an in person interview. Good stuff.

How do you know you are good at in-person interviews? Have you ever been evaluated by a team of experts at Interpol?

It's weird to troll an acceptance/denial/WL thread bro.

Is Interpol the standard now for "good at in-person interviewing" skills? I hadn't realized. Thanks for the enlightenment... Fucking weirdo. Also, if your ridiculous and abrasive posts are an attempt at humor, you're dramatically missing the mark.

I am curious as to how many more people will be interviewed. I also wonder how well skype conveys a typical face-to-face interaction. I personally think skype is a bit awkward: I never know whether I am staring at the camera too much and I have trouble making normal eye contact. Well, I only hope I am lucky enough to encounter this situation! :D

Does this mean we get to be Jason Bourne in our interviews?

Lol, not sure what this means. And I'd be shocked if I got into Yale with my softs.
