Pretty surprising that 3.9 168 and 3.5 169 are getting WL.
It could just be geographic YP. How did you respond to the small essay prompts? (Unlike the popular "wisdom" on TLS, it ain't all about the numbers, particularly at the smaller schools.)

Has Cornell been doing interviews with WLers or by request or...?

Cornell gives multiple updates no? I don't think your first review update could be anything awful.
It's been a while since that last one, but I think this is my 3rd complete. Is there no pattern to follow for Cornell?
Oh, third complete. NVM. Retract my statement. I had three completes before I received my initial decision. Good luck man.

I don't see it how it won't be a deny, I have lower numbers than many people who have posted...

I actually emailed them about this today. Will let you know when they get back to me.
Thanks. You probably meant this, but if you could PM me I'd appreciate it.

This is possible (I'm a west coaster), they asked in the interview "Can you see yourself in Ithaca?"

Yes. I called them recently to ask about the late apps and they said they will be getting to our files this week.

Also they're still looking at people that were held over from EA.

From the group, any thoughts on Scholly money for me....168/3.9 non urm. since it sounds as if Gtown is going to stiff me big time. UCLA is in negotiations to up my scholly....close to USC's...
my thoughts are should I give up any hope of something decent in the T-14?

You're above both medians, so I'm sure you'll get something decent. Good luck!

Particularly, your GPA is probably the median they are aiming for this year... and your GPA is fantastic. I would imagine something is coming jak.

does that mean they have already started to re-review us or just generally they still have our apps and plan to re-review at some point in the future?

She said that they were still reviewing them so I guess they are actively doing so.

That's likely a FAQ. Many thanks if you share your answer with the board instead.

I forgot how to spell the word "hpoe" at this point, so don't mess with my emotions...

Good news, the March 15 deadline doesn't apply. Applicants admitted close to or after the deadline will be given an extra two weeks to send in their materials.

A bit confused on the Cornell Law School Financial Aid Information Sheet: do you only need to send this in if you get accepted? I'm still waiting on a decision and just came across it on their website: says admitted students need to have it in by March 15th, but pretty vague on all applicants.
For what it's worth, I sent my information before my file went under review and I got a prompt "thank you" reply from the Director of Financial Aid and Admissions Services. I figured that since they already had my FAFSA / Need Access it wouldn't hurt to just go ahead and send them my financial aid documents too.

Regarding status checker: received the completed files update email on 3/1 (went complete 2/8). Status checker updated again on 3/5 although it doesn't look like anything else has changed. Hmm.

My first thought when reading this was "Oh thank god" because there's someone else in this boat, but I sympathize because it's really frustrating. Cornell was the second application of twelve I submitted and I've been questioning if I did in fact do something wrong, because I've already heard back from other schools at this point.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
