All the ridiculously high ones seem to be from past cycles that accidentally updated to the current one. On the old LSN, I think it was as easy as selecting the new cycle in a drop-down, so that's probably what happened.Crowing wrote:lol whats w/ that dude anyway. does he just update his cycle every year or something.shntn wrote: Good luck catching up.

Lol, I really hope nobody judges me by the ratio of my TLS join date vs. my number of LSN views. LSN join date would make sense though.helix23 wrote:wtff

I don't think the design is awful, but the site straight doesn't work. That's awful.az21833 wrote:nobody is judging anything lsn right now BECAUSE THE NEW DESIGN IS AWFUL

I feel like the group of people with good numbers that haven't heard back yet keeps shrinking. Yet I'm still here.

Hi! Didn't you submit late, though? That could be the reason. Then again, I haven't been following very closely; have people around your submit date already heard back? I'd check it myself on LSN but well, you knowTripTrip wrote:Hi!

Team silence, unite!
I think carboncopy was an early January submitter, and she got in with a Hamilton.
I'm starting to think there's some merit to the thought that CLS is hoarding high numbers for later, when some people start declining Hamiltons and Butlers so they can dish them out again.
That, or it's totally random. But conspiracy theories are more fun.

Yeah, I posted something like that a few pages back. Like we're in an admit pile but since they have that policy about only giving out Hamiltons/Butlers with the initial acceptance, they're waiting to see how many people turn them down before deciding to offer us one or the other in our acceptance letters.sabanist wrote:Team silence, unite!

Doesn't explain Pacifica or elterrible though. My numbers are NOT high enough for a hammy or a butler

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I'm starting to wonder if one of my recommenders didn't write me such a good letter. Like, not bad enough for schools to ignore my numbers and softs, but enough to give them pause. I've had a lot of success this cycle, but not as much as I'd hoped given my background (or maybe my softs just aren't as good as I thought). Maybe I just should have worked harder on my application, period.twinkletoes16 wrote:Lavitz wrote:Yeah, I posted something like that a few pages back. It's hard telling what's going on, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Lavitz and the rest of the folks still waiting.

Count me in this "good numbers no response" group. LSAT above median, GPA way above 75th. December submit who got an "update your grades" email (and did weeks ago).

It probably didn't help that Nemo came and momentarily disrupted the postal service, as well. Hopefully decisions will move swiftly once the snow gets moved out of the roads.
(And to clarify since LSN is not useful right now, I was an early January submitter.)

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
I'm a January applicant too (submitted 1/14, went complete 1/22) and I believe I was accepted on 2/4 or 2/5. Not sure about anything else, including scholarship info, because I haven't received my NCE yet. My Admitted Student Handbook was delivered on 2/7 but I can't log into the website without a PIN. My numbers and softs aren't extraordinary either, so I don't really know what the process is here.
