So, my status checker says "Complete and Under Review" as of 12/2/2011 (thats basically the day I submitted everything), but it hasn't changed at all since. Does that mean I'll be WLed? Has anyone else been accepted and had to wait this long to find out? 166/3.2 so my GPA is weak but I got a good scholarship at W&L.. I guess the rest of my app+LSAT score are strong to make up for it?? Who knows.. anyways, Any info you have will be helpful! Thanks!
Hi! I got the call today! In for Fall with 28K Scholly!! Guess I freaked out a little too soon.. Goodluck to the rest of you!

Just email them asking for travel subsidies information. They will send you the travel stipend policy, then you just have to inform them that you will be using it for one of the Admitted Students Days.onefatbovine wrote:Do you have to explain your entire financial situation in order to get it? Did you just email the lawinfo@yu.edu email asking about it? I haven't gotten my packet yet, since I only got the call on the 25th, so I may have my question answered when that arrives LOL. I'd be coming from Phoenix, so it's definitely a hefty price to get out to NYC to visit, but I really want to.HankBeech wrote:Just email them asking for travel subsidies information. Has anyone had any luck negotiating for a living expenses stipend? Also, with the Monrad Paulsen scholarship do you still need to pay the tuition deposit? Thanks!

Just email them and tell them that you will be using the stipend. They didn't ask me for any financial information..goldeneye wrote:Also interested in whether one must demonstrate financial hardship for the travel waiver. I'm guessing college student won't be enough?

Same. Not bad, not bad. Was expecting a reject, and I doubt I'd even go if accepted. Used to live in NYC and it's so incredibly expensive.ggibelli wrote:just waitlisted via e-mail

Is the wait list e-mail a logic test? It says, "to accept the place on the wait list, please send an email...to [Cardozo] two weeks from the date of this email."
If I don't wait until Feb 13, have I failed the test?
Just kidding, Cardozo. You know I love you (though I am creating a calendar reminder to e-mail them on the 13th).

Meh, I e-mailed them today accepting the waitlist offer. I figured they meant e-mail them within two weeks.. oopsLawperaMan wrote:Is the wait list e-mail a logic test? It says, "to accept the place on the wait list, please send an email...to [Cardozo] two weeks from the date of this email."

Re: Cardozo 2011-2012 Cycle
Gotcha. I have no problem with part-time. I applied to Brooklyn for part-time, but the problem with Cardozo's program is exactly that its a May daytime program--> won't let me keep my job and it overlaps a little with the end of my UG. But I want Cardozo =(ggibelli wrote:
