Ok, Congrats by the way...I am just trying to figure out if they are calling people that say committee review stage 2 of 2 or if the status checker says something else...

Same here, except I'm not sure when I went complete. The app was received 11/23. I was in stage 2 of committee review.

+1 :). I didn't even know there were stages until just then, because I hadn't seen anyone mention them. Glad my Case app is moving, though!

Cheaper than anywhere I have ever looked. I live in Cleveland now and it is very easy to find nice, affordable living in the Cleveland Heights area.

Ok, here's how the alumni interview works - they are trying to pitch the law school to you. In no way is it actually an interview. The "interview" is intended for you to ask the alumni questions, not vice versa. From the impression I got from the admissions office, it has no rendering on their decision whatsoever, it is simply to give you a chance to learn more about Case (especially if you live very far away it is a nice alternative to visiting right away).

Just thought I'd help clear this up for people.

I disagree with this. I did feel my alumni interviewer pitching the school but he also asked me questions like why law, what area and why case? He told me it was a regional school that places well in OH but outside not as strong. He said they normally do it to asses personality and he informed he would write a great review for me.....take it for what it is...but there is something to be said about interviews.

I was the one being interviewed for about 40 minutes and then the last 20 or so I was able to ask questions. The interviewer informed me that the information is relayed back to Case Western, and that while the interview process could not hurt me (so long as I did not do something stupid), it certainly helped in the admissions process.

I had my interview on Monday evening and it was fairly easy. He told me a lot about Case and just had me tell him about myself. He was very personable and we found a lot to talk about. The only question asked of me was to explain a time in which I made a mistake and how I handled the situation. It went pretty great!

Just got an email to schedule my interview with week. Looking forward to it! (Maybe that's what the stage 2/2 meant???)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
