A 9/15 and a 10/1... looks like no movement on LSN guys who submitted in between those days though. Weird.

Your stats give me major hopes, we're pretty similar. When did you submit? In state?

Got an email saying they received my application, but there's no status checker or anything (like the emails I've gotten from other schools so far). This normal for Texas?

Yeah I submitted on 10/18 got the received email that day, but didn't get the status checker until a week and a half later.

Has anyone looked into establishing Texas residency for 2L and 3L tuition? Would this be easy if you own property and live there for 12 months?

From UT's website, that sounds sufficient, as long as you or your parents own that property. (http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/residency/establishing) If you graduated high school in Texas, that also seems to be acceptable.

Accepted on Friday - no phone call or e-mail yet but Status Checker was updated this AM with Friday's date. So excited!

For the curious: 167/3.94

In! I'm abroad at the moment but just checked my status thanks to TLS posts: granted admission on October 28! I am for the most part looking out-of-state T14, but I'm glad to have such a strong option in-state. Austin is by FAR the best city in Texas for those of you who haven't been there.

I have an October score and am planning on applying ED, even though I plan on sitting for the December LSAT. I called the admissions office to ask if they would still consider my application before the December score came in and they said that I must wait to apply till the December scores come back. The problem is that it looks like I'll gain admittance with the October score nevertheless. Any advice on what to do?

When I talked to the dean on the phone on friday she said to expect a package in the mail in the next 2 weeks with some scholarship info. Anyone recieve scholly info with their acceptance package?
