That awkward moment when you get an admit email after withdrawing your app a month ago... should I email them again to withdraw?

If IUB is starting to get stingy on the scholarship money, those numbers are going to plummet off the face of the Earth.

Hope they aren't doing that. They'll be back to TT so fast it will make heads spin.

Or. They'll realize exactly how long a process of sustained number boosting takes to make a significant impact. They'll low ball this year, drop to like a 161/3.42 and then next year, $$$

If you have a 168, you have so many better options in the midwest. If you have a 167, you have quite a few also. 120k will net them a few of their target fish for 168+, but not nearly enough to even make their current medians.

Until they actually start placing in biglaw, they'll need to suck it up and pay out.

FWIW, I got the same 10k/year offer. Numbers in my profile. (I thought I was a shoe-in for the 120k during the beginning of the cycle.)

Okay. So admits going out and I'm STILL "being processed" as of 11/20 should I be concerned now?

170/3.5

Wow. Forget Indiana. $34,000 in tuition for a school that can't break the top 50 in NLJ250 rankings? Pah!

I have Decision Mailed with yesterday's date, but no e-mail. Any thoughts on this? Maybe an actual package in the mail?

My Decision status switched to "Decision Mailed" 12/20/11, but I haven't received any email. Has anyone been accepted via snail-mail yet?

If they are doing the same thing as last year:

"Decision Mailed" means rejection.

Waitlists were notified via status checker.

Admits notified via email.

A rejection isn't possible with his stats,is it?

Assuming that's accurate, there's no way. IUB doesn't have a GPA floor that I'm aware of.

Great I'm at 3.4/166. Now I'm wondering if I'll be rejected?

If he's getting rejected at IUB I'm giving up on this whole cycle right now

I'm "Decision Mailed" 12-20, well above both 75s. I guess I'll be anxiously checking my mail for a while!

This is scary. Hopefully either my Dec. score is really good or they are just waiting to give out some of the bigger schollys

They can't really think they'll keep their rankings w/o giving out some big money right?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
