Anyone still at 11/14?? I feel like so many people have come and gone and I'm stuck here.

Is it weird that my last complete date is 11/28 and I've since had an interview (in December)? Aren't checkers supposed to update before AND after your interview?

From what I understand, they take people from all waitlists, sometimes from the regular waitlist before the preferred waitlist. Their waitlist system is dumb.

For what it's worth, I'm a 1/6 update with no email. I'm relatively sure I'll be waitlisted, but I would be surprised if it was general waitlist (if there is such a thing and preferred means anything_ and especially surprised about a reject since they went to the trouble to interview/I have pretty good numbers for Georgetown. Not the most encouraging news I know, haha, but thought it might be slightly helpful?

Since you're already T-14 secure:) I'm not worried bout being negative but yeah I think its a little weird crumpets....as far as I know the checker is supposed to update when they receive the evaluation from your interviewer...in my case the alum told me he would submit my evaluation immediately and the checker updated the next day. Although it did not beforehand so maybe that has something to do with it....

Although it did not beforehand so maybe that has something to do with it....

LOL I...should really check my status checkers more often. I think the last time I checked was 1-2 weeks ago, and I just checked now and it's been updated to 1/6 Oooooooops. LOL! It's possible that this whole time I just didn't check my status checker and wasn't aware it had been updated after my interview. Fail.

My cousin is a GULC alum. He told me he was on the normal waitlist and the way he spoke about it it seemed like the dean only took him because he was funny, so I took it that yes, they did admit a regular waitlister before other "preferred" candidates.

So I am going crazy! I applied ED and went complete in mid-November, and on Dec. 2nd I received an email saying I had been deferred to the regular decision. I sent in a letter of continued interest a couple weeks later, but now it's Jan. 6th and there have been no updates to my status checker since Dec. 2nd and I haven't heard anything.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

i was deferred from ED too and I called the office to ask around when I could expect to hear back again and they said that most deferred applicants could expect to hear back around end of february. so unfortunately it looks like a long wait for us my status hasn't changed since the date i got my deferring e-mail
