Okay, so I guess I should hear from GTown today, Saturday or Monday.
Went complete 11/16, did my interview 11/29, went complete on 12/14, and complete again to 12/16.

C'mon people. If it didn't impact admissions then why would they do it? Let's use our brains here.

Is it expected to write a LOCI when your decision has been postponed?
no, but i don't see how it could hurt.

Their admission letters typically take a week or longer after they're sent, so don't expect a letter for a while. You might try getting into the admitted student site though.

As in you already did one and they want another? Or you declined and they are asking for one again? Or that you got 2 emails requesting an interview without ever being contacted by an alum?

one group scheduled, one alumni scheduled. I guess it isn't that weird, but I thought applicants only got one or the other.

Though GTown will say otherwise, "heavily recommended" really means it's not going to look good for you to reject an interview request, ESPECIALLY if you have no built in excuse like "oh, i can't go all the way to GTown" when they have alums all over the country. I'd do it y'know? Leave no stone unturned.
Yeah, I just hate mostly that it means waiting longer, but I'm being greedy I guess.

Who/what type of applicants do they ask to interview generally?

I had my interview on 12/2, but my status has been stuck on complete since 11/28. The admissions office indicated last week that my interviewer's evaluation form has been delayed. I sent the interviewer a thank you email right after the interview, but I'm wondering if I should follow up with him again. Thoughts?

Hrmm. The consensus opinion is that interview requests are sent out to borderline candidates. But, based on people's posts in this thread, some that were above both 75th % got interview requests while those below both medians didn't. Furthermore, based on my experience, my interviewer didn't ask me a single question on why I thought I was being interviewed (multiple LSATs, reapplicant, etc).

They actually are given no information about the applicant other your name, email address, and whatever you put on your resume. See http://www.law.georgetown.edu/admission ... ewFAQs.htm. It seems the general consensus is that they are looking to test your people skills and make sure that there isn't anything super wrong with you. Honestly, I think accepting the interview is probably more important than the interview itself, as long as you're social skills are ok. They want to gage your interest.

I agree - I think you are the first person we've heard of getting both requests. Others may disagree but if I were you I would just call their office and that you had already scheduled x interview and then you got an email about y interview, just wanted to clarify, etc... would be happy to do both... it's probably a secretary or something anyway so if it's normal/not an issue, no one will probably know that you called, and if it IS a mistake, then they will be glad you called. No downside
