I think Byzantine is the most optimistic person on the internet.

Na, just TLS. For some reason, prospective lawyers skew to the pessimistic side. Who would have guessed?Syme wrote:I think Byzantine is the most optimistic person on the internet.

UR/complete since Oct. 14/27 with no communication. Here's hoping today is the day. Is there a point at which I call? I really don't want to annoy anyone, but at this point...
Anyone else out there sharing the same situation?

Why? I called Stanford 2 weeks after sending my application because I hadn't received a completion confirmation, and they were extremely nice, checked my file, told me not to worry and sent me a confirmation email that same day. I'm not saying call and ask for a decision, just say you're worried you might have missed some communication because your file has been under review for almost 5 months and you haven't received a hold notification. You don't even have to give your name and stuff until/unless they ask you...Elendil wrote: That's so weird, dude. Have you called them to ask politely what's up?

Completely agreed. Best to do this as soon as possible too, just in case there has been some gap in communication/documentation.hypothalamus wrote:Why? One has fail. (Obligatory bottom 8% of the class atm @ Harvard IIRC, but that was going to be phased out, no idea about the situation now)

Hey all--I had my JS1 a little over a week ago and haven't heard anything about the JS2 yet. I gleaned from LSN that most people get the JS2 about a week after the JS1.
Am I doomed?

So, other than the fail part, do the curves look similar for both systems?

1) JS2 within a few days,
2) JS2 within a week or so,
3) held after a week+ (I saw a handful of these on the thread earlier)
