I was placed on hold a couple weeks ago. I plan to send Harvard supplementary information, including a resume update. My original resume was 1 page, but I created a more detailed 2 page resume for Berkeley. I like the 2 page version better and I have enough information to fill up both pages and stay at 12 point font. Does Harvard have a length preference?

I would check the original application instructions.

I seem recall they were fine with 2 pages.

I know Harvard does not open attachments, but I am considering the idea of emailing a LOCI in tomorrow that does not have any attachments. I don't want to ignore their policies, but also don't want to reduce my chances by going the slower route of snail mail. Please tell me if this is a bad idea.

On LSN, I don't think I have seen admits with a GPA+LSAT closer to 25th percentile than median. I suspect that Harvard has yet to interview the majority of URM candidates that will ultimately be accepted, which means that the snail mail route will probably not impede your chances.

At some point it was determined that you can send them a quick update (e.g. telling them about a deadline) via email (and even with that the policy seemed ambiguous). I don't know if that applies to a full-fledged LOCI, if that's what you have in mind. For that, I would just stick with snail mail. Maybe send it by express if you're really worried?

Man, I just don't get it. Under review 2/1. Complete 2/9. Just silence. You could hear a pin drop in my inbox.

One of my KB/JS1 peers received a phone call and I haven't heard anything, does that mean I'm toast?

Yay, congrats!!! Although, if this is the 2nd URM wave and I haven't been included in the KB/JS1s, I think I might be done for.

But you're not international, right? I'm hoping so hard they pick me from the international pile, too... If not in this wave, that's probably the end. :D

Nope. I'm a plain jane...errr....joe.

Brb. I think I need to be consoled by LSN's data on Harvard's waitlist movement over the past few years...
