Held ED but no DLS. Sounds like the activity was late in the day so I'm not surprised no one was called--hopefully all the DLSers will get a call tomorrow!

I don't think any have heard yet (or just haven't posted). But you have bangin' stats, so I'd be optimistic if I were you.

I don't want to get my hopes up, I got word today that it would take a 'miracle' for me to get accepted. But I do want NYU sooooooo bad!

Edit: Screw anonymity. I had a professor call a colleague at NYU, who in turn went to the admissions office on my behalf in order to inquire about my application. Whatever the admissions office told him about my app, which he in turn told my professor, lead my professor to tell me it would take a "miracle" for me to get accepted. Not sure if that made sense haha

I don't really want to say for anonymity sake, but it was from a very reliable source. That just happened today too, so it is weird coincidence that I would get DLS today, finally.

wow, that's crazy harsh--your stats don't make me think "miracle".. hey, at least they budged and told you something. I told them I had a job offer and they regurgitated the automatic "by the end of april" response

This is a good idea. Although, I don't know how long it usually takes for asw to work, and if I try and (inevitably) fail to log in, then I'll be very upset. So I think I'll wait until tomorrow to try, if I don't get a call/email before then.

Ahh! So many DLS ED'ers!!! Now I'm freaking out that I'm still held, no DLS. Although it seems it updated at the end of the day, so maybe they just didn't get to my inevitable rejection in time...

ASW worked for me the same day I got the DLS status.

I just spent the last hour searching through last years NYU thread to see what was up with dls around this time. While its hard to tell exactly what was going on (I skimmed), it seems like there was a group of people who went dls on 4/11 (Monday) and many of them were accepted later in the week (Thursday). HOWEVER, at LEAST one person was also reject from (what I believe) is that same group. So take this info as you will, and feel free to look for yourself and share thoughts! (If you can't tell, I'm extremely anxious about this)

Edit: It also seems like they found out via the asw 2 days after they went dls, or they just got the purple envelope in the mail- I don't know if this is because NYU didn't do phone calls last year or what.
