How did you find out? Did you call the admissions office? Did you talk to Lori Freeman?

Yep, Lori was very helpful. I think she has fielded a few calls like mine recently.

It is definitely email, no snail mail for admits anyways. Although the pony express may not have reached me and I don't think I can see the smoke signals.

Anyone heard from Montana today? Be it carrier pigeon, smoke signals, email or otherwise?

So they emailed you and then you called? I'm assuming?

Would anyone who was admitted be willing to share their GPA/LSAT?

I was waitlisted today, March 11th, and am below the school average at 2.98 GPA and 152 LSAT.

I got held today as well. 157 and a 3.45, both above their median so I'm not quite sure why I was held....

Congrats!

Does anyone know what kind of stuff they'll send out for the summer reading material?

They haven't posted first assignments yet. If you go to the law school's webpage, click "Students" on the left and then "Student Handbook" on the right, you can find the link for first assignments on page 18.

Has anyone recieved any scholly info yet? I heard they don't usually do it until after people start paying deposits. I know that they don't have much funds but my LSAT is considerably above the 75% and GPA is about median...so I was hoping for at least something. Should I just be happy with in-state?

I honestly don't know about the scholarships. They just posted my financial aid award today, so maybe you'll hear soon. Wishing you luck!

Yeah, they also posted mine today. Well, I guess in-state tuition is still under 11k so it is not that bad either way.

Waitlisted: out-of-stater, 28, URM, LSAT-158, GPA- 3.091 Cumulative, 2.31 LSAC (Yeah, I know...let's just say I wasn't the most focused student right after high school.)

I am really into Montana and would appreciate any school specific recommendations for what may or may not get me off the waitlist. I'm considering taking the LSAT again in June. Think an improved score may help?
