Well, there has to be something substantively different about us since our numbers are the exact same, haha. I have already been held.starrydreamz3 wrote:No JR1, no hold, no rejections, no hope.

I'm not counting on hearing anything for a while. All the action that's been going on recently has been people under review weeks after me.
And cardinal, its likely they've just gotten around to you soon. You're still my favorite numbers twin!

I think you have a much better chance than me for getting positive news- you retook the LSAT in December right? Maybe they're reevaluating you again based on the new score (which is amazing btw)Nulli Secundus wrote:This is where I belong. (If nothing happens in the next 22 minutes)
My dates:
Submitted: 11/3
UR: 11/9
Complete email: 11/18
Also- has anyone sent in an updated transcript? I think they received mine 1/14, which could possibly be the source of delay?

I should be a relatively easy waitlist or rejection. Guess not?

Re: The Forgotten - Harvard 2011
Well at this point, I have no idea about my chances, but yes, I increased my LSAT from 170 to 176 from October to December. They received my new score either on Jan 7 or Jan 11 (conflicting dates on LSAC). Y'all are my honorary future classmates already anywayeaa1537 wrote:I think you have a much better chance than me for getting positive news- you retook the LSAT in December right? Last 8 minutes before weekend (aka 2 days of painful theorycrafting regarding why they are going to reject you & what you did wrong).

Exactly-I'm torn between happiness that I haven't been dinged, and the anxiety of having heard nothing.bistduverrueckt wrote:+1,000gatorgirl4life wrote: at least we haven't been rejected yet?

Re: The Forgotten - Harvard 2011
In my mind, from what I've read on the Harvard thread from last year, peoples like me who were complete around 12/3 or so should be getting dings/holds next week.
They've been progressing the last few weeks from early November to late November. I kind of think that if you're UR in late November and haven't heard anything, then you should buckle up for next week because if the pattern holds, you should be hearing something if it's negative..
Sorry to be a downer, but that's the assumption I've been working with, which is why I haven't worried about not getting a hold/ding- it's not time yet!

Interesting- and what's your assumption for an UR 11/9???lzyovrachievr wrote:In my mind, from what I've read on the Harvard thread from last year, peoples like me who were complete around 12/3 or so should be getting dings/holds next week.

Re: The Forgotten - Harvard 2011
If I were in that position, I'd be thinking- well, I haven't gotten dinged or WLed. Maybe that means they like my application a bit but I'm not an auto-admit. Maybe they're already planning a JR1 at some point. Maybe I'm in the wrong pile and it's just taking a while to get to me.eaa1537 wrote: Interesting- and what's your assumption for an UR 11/9???
But the fact that you weren't dinged along with other people in your date range can only be a good thing in my book. I'm not saying you'll get in. But they've gone over your app presumably and they didn't ditch it immediately. I'd be hopeful and constantly on edge when other people get e-mails so that I didn't get one as well (because most will be dings and WLs).
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
