Guys I can't figure out where the status checker is. I never got that email. I'm trying to look to tell you though.

I just withdrew. Hopefully this frees up $20,000 a year and a spot in the class for somebody else.

I just realized that Catholic never e-mailed me that they received my app; sent it in early December. I applied mainly because of fee waiver, so I'm not going to bother trying to figure out what happened.

In with $$ and no stipulations (pleasantly surprised), but the money wasn't nearly as much as Hofstra gave me. Let the negotiations begin!

Coming up on 6 weeks complete. Does this seem like an atypical amount of time for CUA?

I'm approaching 13 weeks complete. Take that for what it's worth.

Good lord. I'll be in D.C. next week and set up a tour. I think I found my first talking point.

I applied on Jan 4, got the "application received" email on Jan 5, and the status checker was updated to "your file is complete" on Jan 6. Nothing heard since then. Going on four weeks now. I applied to American on the same day and was on the wait list within a week.

I'm also on American's waitlist and waiting to hear something/anything from Catholic. I've been complete for a few weeks too. The date did change twice i think. Also I called last week and the girl on the phone said it will be 4-6 weeks after the system says file complete. That to me makes no sense at all. Considering everything was recieved the week of Jan 11th and my date for file complete has changed twice. With the most recent date Jan 24th. This is becoming very frustrating.

I have been complete since 12/2. I called the admissions office asking the status of my application and estimates time for a decision given they are past the 4-6 week timeframe states on their site. The man I spoke with mentioned that the 4-6 weeks doesn't take the holidays into consideration, but they should be making a decision soon. Ugh

This wait is really starting to drive me nuts. I know i haven't been waiting as long as some folks but come on now!!! My status date changed twice but still says that I'm complete. Anyone know if we should hear anything anytime soon?

Got an email from CUA finally saying I've been awarded a "Faculty Merit Scholarship or a Faculty Fellowship." Are these set amounts or does it vary with numbers?

Same here. Except I got my award letter which was for 15.5K/year and the email received was asking me if I was interest in setting up an interview with a Dean in which case I could be offered a larger scholarship.

Same here. What I'm wondering is how much the scholly can increase if you go for the interview. Old threads have not shed any concrete light - any Catholic students out there with stories?

For those who already got admitted, when is the first seat deposit due and how much is it? Thanks.

Since most of us have been waiting a very long time (approaching my 9th week) - has anyone heard of anyone getting dinged from CUA thus far?

No but based on lawschoolnumbers I'm hoping to get a decision either sometime next week or the week of March 1st.

My application went complete 12/2 and today it says "Decision Rendered, Decision Mailed." This doesn't look too good.... for anyone admitted or waitlisted, were you notified by your online status checker?

Yea my status checker changed late at night and the email came at COB the next day.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
