Re: University of Arizona
Is anyone able to get in to the New Admits portion of the site still? Ever since I posted the link, when I log in I am back to the "you haven't bee approved yet" message, and when I click the "notify admissions" button it comes up with a 404.
Anyone else? I guess it's time for a generic email to them.
Sure hope they will throw out some financial aid information soon.

I can't get in the site either and may email in the next day or two because I really need to know those ASD and deposit dates... (anyone know either of those things by chance?)

Re: University of Arizona
I was able to get in briefly when they first approved me and saw the 2 deposit dates, but I can't recall them with certainty. I believe their "come visit" day (whatever the official title of that is) was March ~28th. (edit: I was wrong).
UA is my first choice since I already own a home in Tucson, but it all comes down to the scholarship # for me.

Re: University of Arizona
I spoke with Dan Nunez in admissions and he informed me there is a preview day for admitted students on Saturday, April 16th. Not sure about additional dates.
Concerning the website: I was told it would be up and running in the next two weeks. They are adding additional information and links.
The first deadline for deposit, I believe, is 1 April. Can't remember the amount.
Hope this helps.

Re: University of Arizona
That does help--thanks! What an early deposit. Is 'Preview' day instead of an admitted students day? Is that what that means?
I am pretty much down to/torn between UA and Hastings. Might be time for me to leave AZ, but I think both schools have great programs so the ASDs should be pretty useful for me.mala2 wrote:yeah I need to know that info too, was thinking it would be in the binder but it wasn't. Is U of A your first choice school?

Yes, it was a letter with just merit scholarship info. There wasn't any need based info in it.

Thanks for the info! Do you mind sharing whether you live in state or out of state?esch8 wrote:Yes, it was a letter with just merit scholarship info. There wasn't any need based info in it.

I haven't had the chance to look at it myself (it was mailed to my parents' place), but from what I understand I would get 18k a year with the stipulation that I remain in good standing. Apparently, there were no specifics on what GPA that would require.

do mind saying what your numbers are or a range? Are you in/out state? I'm trying to decide if I should ask for more.
