I have not the best numbers but experience working in the legal field which I think has kept me competitive.
Congrats

For the eternal wait.

Better than a flat our rejection.

I'm in review at Brooklyn. Waitlisted at Louisville and Hofstra - thinking about sending in a LOCI, but I don't know how much I would consider either school after all that I've heard about them. A LOCI can't hurt though.

Is it likely for me to get into part time with a 158/3.95 even though i applied 1/7? Acoording to law school predictor it's an "admit" but I'm worried becuase it seems like most here did a lot better than that?

Congrats Elle! I remember seeing you on the Cardozo board too - aren't you set on going there?

Congrats! I submitted my app pretty late--just got it in a week or so ago. I'm hoping I didn't shoot myself in the foot. :|

Yes, and whatever it is, it hasn't arrived yet. I live in Queens too!

My status changed slightly, all of a sudden I have all this info on seat deposits and merit scholarships down at the bottom left hand corner, but of course that means nothing. I think its just BLS being a tease.

Yeah, in review since 1/12 but noticed that new mailing. Don't have anything yet.

I don't have it either, my last thing is the e-news from January. I do have BLS notes from October though. I also got their brochure book in the mail recently, but that isn't listed on the things they sent out.

Anyone have any idea when the majority of us will be hearing back? I've been in review since late November and still nothing.

Who knows. Last year, looks like decisions trickled out from early-Jan until mid-March.

All I gotta say is it hurts BLS to be sleepin on these apps in this way. I've been accepted to better NYC schools at this point, and T30 w/ $$$, while BLS sits on my app until the spring equinox

BLS Notes is just a law school magazine. I received it 2 days ago.

I've been accepted and today I received an email from an alum asking if I had any questions/need any help with my admissions cycle. Nice touch, BLS.

While I haven't been accepted to any better NYC schools, wait-listed at Cardozo and waiting to hear back about the may program, I also agree. It's very frustrating that they have been sitting on these apps for so long. I'm borderline, 163, 3.2 with solid softs and work experience so I'm eagerly anticipating the decision.

Yeah. I was accepted at Cardozo with $20,000. I would think that Cardozo is their biggest competitor (though I have no idea, just a thought), and I'm spending more and more time thinking about them, and less about Brooklyn while I await their response.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
