Merit as a law school aside, I think UW is utterly horrible at the admissions process.

Just wondering if anyone has knowledge of when UW will start reviewing people on the waitlist... If someone is willing to call Dean Le/person-answering-phone and ask, please let us know!

So I was accepted in December and the acceptance packet encouraged me to fill out the "scholarship form" included in the packet... but there was no scholarship form. I called and inquired about the missing form and was told that earlier admits didn't get the form because there was a holdup at the printer, but they assured me they would mail it as soon as they received them. It's been three months and nothing.... wtf?

The scholarship form is online under admitted students. You submit it online too so I am not sure what paper copy they were talking about? Hope this helps

He told me that a new committee will start looking at the apps that choose to stay on the WL after April 15th through May (possibly June), given that most people by then will either put their deposit down, or withdraw to go someplace else. Being on the WL during a time when it seems everyone is applying to law school (also with so many people seemingly WLed) doesn't give you much hope that many spaces will open up...

waitlisted...I knew a WL/Ding was coming, but I didn't anticipate how soul crushing it would be. Feeling disillusioned and depressed.

Denied yesterday. UW was a reach and a ding was expected, but I had false hope for a waitlist. Guess I'm not a special flower.

Feeling kind of the same way right now. I was excited at first, but you can only be so happy about not getting rejected, and a lot more depressed thinking about how many other people got WLed too with limited spots... I guess I need to stop thinking about it, but the 2+ month extra wait is not helping.

to me, a WL=rejection. I'd rather be surprised by an acceptance than disappointed by an eventual rejection (which is more likely). I'll def. submit an LOCI, but I'm not expecting anything.

has anyone from the 3/11 batch got an acceptance? That batch has to be mixed and can't be just WLs and rejections...right?

Doesn't look like it so far...I'm still waiting on the mail but after hearing everyone so far has been WL or rejected I'm not feeling so optimistic.

Looks like Seattle U is going to be full of UW rejects

. I love Washington too much to leave. And Gonzaga? I could never live in eastern Washington again (no offense to those who do).

Still no one on LSN accepted from the 3/11 batch either.

But they have so few acceptances listed that you would assume SOME of us would be getting the good news. Right? Rigght...?

To those who have filled out scholarship app, anyone get a scholarship offer yet? They took a long time to send out decisions but they have to get back to us with $$ soon if they want to stay competitive. I really want to go to UW but without knowing the money situation its hard. It's really getting to be last minute here.
