What do you mean about tuition clarification? In-state or out-of-state? I didn't hear about that yet. Are you early decision?

I'm early decision, and the tuition classification was for in-state. All veterans get in-state tuition classification in Colorado's state schools, so they just need a copy of my supporting documents.

Ah... OK. I was just curious because I applied to in-state (grew up in Colorado, went there in high school) expecting not to get it. So I assume I'll get a similar e-mail at some point, but I'm not early decision.

I hope you EDs get your decisions in soon!!

It would be hard to get a better deal than the Post 9/11 GI Bill, and I definitely wouldn't be able to attend school without it.

Congrats on in-state guys/gals and thanks for serving!

Update: CU emailed back today and said that they were waiting on my second LOR (which I figured) but since it arrived last week, the woman would update my file today to complete and send a follow-up email tomorrow. Apparently it doesn't hurt to email with them- how helpful! :)

Edit: Whew too many smilies... lol

Does anyone know if CU holds an ASD or ASW? Any idea of when these might be?

They do. It is in March, I think. I've looked for the date already, and I couldn't find one for next year. I think you find out once you are accepted.

Well that's positive at least. March I can do! And maybe get a day or two of snowboarding in while I'm there?!

There are typically two admitted student days, one sometime in mid-March, the second in mid-April, always on Fridays. You get danishes & coffee in the morning, listen to the deans in the big courtroom, ask a panel of current students ridiculous questions, sit through a mock class (get cold-called on some case you read the night before), get a tour of the building, eat a free lunch with faculty and current students, and then are out of there by around 1:30.

+1, received an e-mail regarding in-state classification for military. I also received a snail mail letter the following day with the appropriate form.

For current students -- would there be any point to visiting the school next week when classes are not in session? Other than simply touring the building? I will be in Colorado for Christmas. Thanks.

Anyone know when scholarship information comes out for CU? Does it come with your acceptance letter/email? Or later?

WHAATTT?!?! I have to wait until March?! That's insane... I wanted to have my decision made by March 1st...

I emailed admissions yesterday, and they said there definitely will not be any admission decisions sent until January.

EDs are suppose to find out this month. I got an email from admissions telling me to expect it in late December.
