I just called about the waitlist and they said that the list is very small this year and that they would start admitting people off it starting on or around April 15th. He says there is no way of telling who or how many will get off it but that the list is surprisingly small.

On another note, I've talked to one other person going to STCL this fall who is military. Anyone else?

I give up on today :( I feel bad that I supplied information that didn't play out. But I swear that's what they said!! Here's to tomorrow *raises glass of wine* ... THIRD glass of wine.

The stress from the scholarships today plus being denied from my number 1 reach (UGA) makes me want a bottle of wine...or two. Sadly, I must write a paper on the oral arguments of a case and determining justice votes from their questions. Fun...please...have a fourth for me.

Hmm...I wonder why it is surprisingly small. Is this a good thing, maybe?

I wonder the same thing. I really wish we had an answer to that. My guess would be that it is a good thing, especially since they plan on admitting some off the wait list sooner than they expected (April 15th when most reports were that they wouldn't until the end of May).

Oh and when I spoke to them on the phone today they were very nice. I was shocked. I asked him all kinds of questions and he answered them willingly and I hung up thinking I had actually gotten information out of them. Very out of character because it is usually like talking to the devil on a bad hair day.

I was waitlisted, and I wonder why put people on the waitlist if you know you are going to admit them? Seems off.

Papers like that are what caused me to switch to a History major.

For those of you who have called STCL, can you tell me which number you called? I left a message at 713-646-1810 and emailed *********@stcl.edu Monday morning, and I have not heard back. Very frustrating.

It's got a better shot of being the day than yesterday was.

But seriously, I hope you hear today.

I've never called, but any time I've emailed, I've emailed to admissions@stcl.edu and they've been pretty quick to get back to me from that email address.

i find your logic aggrivatingly upbeat

I hate that STCL cycle is off from other law schools, there should be a law they all have the same timetables or something.

Like if you are an accredited school you must follow these guidelines and these dates. Sign me up

What exactly are the cycles for "most" schools? St. mary's and for example?
