Is anyone who submitted before Thanksgiving still stuck at their original UR date? Mine hasn't budged since it initially went under review on 12/23. I'm really confused what this means, as everyone who's statuses have updated seems to be getting a reply.

Ah, we unlucky few. I'm beginning to really loath online status checkers, I feel like life would be easier without them.

The checkers do add an interesting element! I'm not sure its unlucky (or lucky for that matter) though. For example- the people who have been accepted still show that they are still in review. Looks like last year this happened to the accepted students as well as those denied. Another reason I'm not sure its worth reading into their status checker updates too much is because I went in review in January (complete in November) but my status date remained my November completion date.... so it seems it is more of a big mystery than something we can rely on being good or bad news. Maybe I'm just trying to be optimistic, but they seem to have a few unreliable traits, so maybe this is just another weird thing that doesn't necessarily mean anything either way.

Oh, I don't think it has anything to do with being calm really- I'm so edgy its awful. I just realized that I was going more insane adding the stress of trying to figure out what the status checker meant along with being jumpy every time my phone rings and nervous when I peer into my mailbox. Just had to drop the one that made the least sense in order to preserve some type of sanity

Ya, I just can't help myself. My gf has threatened parental blocking all my checkers and a certain obsessive speculation, stress-inducing, website. I think we all know what it is

Ya, people who aren't going through it don't quite understand. My husband said, "well just don't go on and check any of those anymore- it'll make your life a lot easier." To which I imagined myself just sitting around going crazy speculating what was going on- as if there would be some sudden surge of action.
