For those who have been admitted or denied, do you get an email in either case to let you know? Or is the website the best option for finding out?

I found out via the website. I don't think I got an email. I got a package VIA snail mail about a week after I was accepted.

No email? Geez, I am so sick of checking my status - I was thinking about just giving up and waiting for an email

Re: University of Houston 2011
Submitted my app 2/15. IR 4/1. My numbers are below the median for GPA & LSAT so I am hoping for the best but expecting to be rejected judging by lawschoolnumbers. Should I hold out some small hope knowing my app has been in review for so long, or should I assume they're stringing me along while my app sits in a pile? I know, debbie downer, but the wait is taking its toll (as I know it is for a lot of you).

They're really reviewing the crap out of my application. The date changed again - IR 03/31, 04/11 and 04/13.

They like your LSAT - they're probably holding on to your app to see how their class shakes out and if they need higher LSAT to raise their medians.libdemjenn wrote:They're really reviewing the crap out of my application. The date changed again - IR 03/31, 04/11 and 04/13.

I was a late admit (4/8) and I was notified of my acceptance by email. So, stop checking your status (or at least check it less frequently) and wait for an email. Best of luck!TexasGE wrote:No email? Seriously guys I have a 149, 2.6--- Realistically speaking in terms of numbers they should have thrown mine out. My app is solid aside from that though (excellent recs/ps/resume/work exp in legal field)... I'm excited that they didn't just toss it, but I don't want to be built up too much

Anyone have a deposit deadline later than April 15th? I thought I saw someone say theirs was the 25th.

ive been in review too, for a few days now. Waiting to be rejected any day now, probably today. Unless they want to fill a seat and need someone with lower numbers, then one of us might get accepted.
