Don't be so sure... I think now that they've gotten through everyone, dates are out the window. Hence the panic.

+1 Dates seem to be irrelevant at this point. There are a few of us who are UR from October, and some ppl from February have already heard back both with acceptances and DLS.

I think you should have an answer within 2 weeks if you let them know.

By "have to make a decision" I meant more "have to put down a $750-$1000 deposit." Pretty sure Stanford doesn't care if I lose that money, which I guess is fair enough. But also, mentally, I would like to have my mind made up when I place that deposit, which is a couple weeks' salary for me.

I'm considering sending a brief LOCI/let them know that I have to make a decision within a couple of weeks.

Why is it SO HARD to write a LOCI? Like, there are just too many awesome things and it's hard to talk about it without sounding like a fawning idiot. Gah.

Very glad this thread is still lively, but man, every time it moves, I think that another decision has gone out.

Decision this morning--call at 9:10am, so maybe more decisions coming out this week for those waiting?

Grats! numbers? UR date? what other schools have you been accepted to? odds of attending SLS? shoe size? hand preference? major? work experience? favorite candy? who is going to win the World Series this year?

174, 3.67. UR sometime in November. Accepted Harvard, Columbia, Berkeley, NYU. deciding between H and S.

A bit of info from briefly rereading some of last year's SLS thread (instead of packing for my trip to NYC tomorrow morning...or writing a paper...):

About this time last year, someone reported on the thread that 80% of acceptances were out. WL letters showed up dated 3/31 and rejections dated from 3/29. Also, relatively large (for Stanford) acceptances 4/7 and 4/9, corresponding to next Wednesday and Friday. Did not read further along, but I distinctly remember several waves after that.

I called Stanford yesterday on another matter. When I asked whether there are still seats left,..."Yes but we're make if not daily, but weekly decisions now, we expect to finish everything by the end of April... we're almost done"...so yeah, there are spots, but I don't fathom there are many
